Alzheimer’s affect close to 500,000 people in the UK, and is one of the most common cause of dementia.
Early signs of Alzheimer’s are a lapse in memory, or problems in finding words to express themselves. As the disease progresses, drastic mood changes are seen as the ability to reason or communicate worsens. These symptoms can be contained with conventional medication, however it’s administration is dependent on the stage of the symptoms.
During the late stages of Alzheimer’s, medication is stopped, but does that mean it is too late for our loved one? Maybe not! We have examples of persons who were in a similar situation, and due to the incorporation of Extra Virgin Coconut Oil in their diet, an improvement in memory loss was seen.
