Retirement for some are very good, however for many, they are within the 40% increase seen in the clinically depressed and 60% increase seen with additional physical conditions. Due to these increases seen in the deterioration of health, many are now saying that retirement could be “bad for health”. Research have shown that while in the early retirement stage many have seen an improvement in health, in time it declines at a faster rate than those still in employment. These findings have now left many wondering whether it is wise to still have an age for retirement as it seems that many who work longer remain healthier.
