Researchers have found a link between how we live to having a healthier heart. These studies were based on four aspects of our lives such as our diet, physical activity, smoking status and body mass index (BMI).
It was seen that persons who implemented these changes, (especially the incorporation of a simple exercise routine), a boost in their health was seen thus reducing their risk of death from all causes by 80 percent.
Out of the four categories, smokers were seen to be more at risk of heart failure when compared to overweight and sedentary persons.
